Our biggest set of rooms
At The Norwegian Sound Studio A is our largest and best equipped studio. With two control rooms, three live rooms, and two dedicated booths for vocals and drums, you'll have everything you need to achieve the highest quality sound.
Our state-of-the-art AVID HDX system allows for ultra-low latency recording with Pro Tools, and our DAD audio converters ensure that every detail of your sound is captured with crystal clear clarity. The visual contact between all of the rooms is facilitated by large windows, making it easy for bands and other ensembles to record live with fully separated sound.
Studio A is also home to a beautiful Schimmel grand piano and a wide selection of other instruments, ensuring that you have everything you need to bring your musical vision to life.
Great sounding rooms
Designed with great acoustics in mind, Studio A offers a controlled sound that is perfect for capturing the full range of your musical performance. Whether you're recording vocals, drums, or any other instrument, you can trust that the sound you hear in the studio will be exactly the sound that ends up on your recording. Our team of experienced producers and engineers are dedicated to ensuring that every detail of your sound is captured with the highest quality and clarity.
Visual contact
Studio A is designed with live recordings in mind, which is why we've included large windows between all of the rooms. These windows allow for visual contact between the musicians, ensuring that everyone is on the same page during the recording process. This is especially useful for bands who want to capture the energy and feel of a live performance, but still want the sound to be fully separated.
Grand piano
The Schimmel brand is known for producing some of the finest pianos in the world, and this grand piano is no exception. With its rich, warm sound and responsive touch, the Schimmel is a joy to play and record. Whether you're a seasoned pianist or just starting out, you'll love the versatility and expressiveness of this instrument. It's the perfect choice for recording everything from classical music to pop and rock, and it adds a level of sophistication and depth to any recording.
